Muslim Travel : Hanoi - Halong Bay
On that day Vietnam Airlines have promotion on their flight...so our trip begin..
Airport to Hotel/Old Quater
We arrive around 10pm and straight to hotel by Taxi book online before our flight cause afraid of scam taxi or any. However you can just take Airport taxi that is much cheaper.
One of us try asking cheaper price for transport to hotel and we actually get discounted few more USD. of course this is just for comparing the prices we get from online.
So, you can bargain at Airport Taxi counter.
For next morning we book a 16 seated private car to bring us around Hanoi and transport to Halong Bay. 79USD for 8 person, That was less then 10usd per person, and we can just ask the driver to bring us to any place that we wanna go including transfer to Halong Bay. We just need a bit research where to go or visit in Hanoi.
For sure it was much more cheaper then using tour guide.

Food.
Not many halal restaurant in Hanoi and at Halong Bay i haven't found one, so its depend on your skill at looking for food for yourself.
