Short and Cheap Trip to Yogyakarta

Special District of Yogyakarta

Again..a conference at Daerah istimewa yogyakarta or Special District of Yogyakarta in english or normally just call Jogja. A city with various historical thing.. lets just skip and go for the trip while go for the conference..Its usual to have 'supir' @driver for your trip at Indonesia and of course our supir already waiting at arrival gate..This time we hasten our pace as we are hungry.

Day 1 cost:
Heksa Guesthouse = IDR 3 100 000 / 4 Night
Supir/Driver          = RM 390 / 3 Days
Dinner                   = IDR 134 000 / 5person

Next day...we wake early for the sunrise at Bukit Panguk Kediwung, as its nearest to go.

This is one of the moment as the day gets brighter and dark sky turn to light blue. We stay here for a bit of time to appreciate this colorful change.

Do not miss Gua Pindul Tubing as its great to fresh yourself from just touring...

Trip end with sunset at Embun Nglanggeran

Day 2 cost:
Entry to some place.. plus flying fox, lunch, cave tubing = IDR 1 416 000 for 5 person
Next day to Borobudur/Parambanan/Moko. the cost are quite high...even more unsatisfied if going when the sun already at top of your head..so be sure getting there for sunrise or sunset as it gives great view.

Maliboro street.

Day 3 cost:
Candi ticket cost can be search online as might be some promotion or other stuff..
Cost about IDR 3 300 000 as we only go to Borobudur and some other place that not too costly.

Fourth day we go for Merapi Mount Trip sunrise...

Then back to Maliboro street we found that its the day for Festival Sultan, one of the festival in Yogjakarta
