There are many tour package for Halong Bay Tour. 1 day tour from Hanoi, 2 day or so on. As far as i know, for 1 day tour they set the tour on Halong Bay by 4 hour tour, 6 Hour and 8 hour. 1 day tour from Hanoi will have 4 Hour tour on boat, that cause Hanoi to Halong take about 3 Hours, 6 hour to go and return to Hanoi.

For any tour we dint need to book online. its seriously expensive. Just book it at hotel or any place that we can bargain.
